Sri Guru Raghavendra Educational Trust® has been brought into existence during 1995 with the object of serving the cause of education in the vicinity of Doddabommasandra, near Vidyaranyaura, Bangalore – 560097. The Trust has a Nursery section and Grade 1 to Grade 10. Affiliated to CBSE New Delhi.

Mahesh Memorial Kendriya Vidyashala, during the year 1995 – 96. And is situated at a very spacious, one acre of land. The premises is well known as “Gnanadhama”, which means a great treasure of knowledge, which encompasses divine intuition, devotional mysticism and practical wisdom. The management consists of well known personalities in the field of education, who have served in the field for more than three decades.

We, at GnanaDhama Premises constantly groom the innocent children into knowledgeable and responsible citizens. Right from the inception up to now, more than fifteen batches have passed out from our school. We have maintained a steady range of percentage of results, between 95 and 100 in the SSLC / public examination so far. Many of the passed out students have become Engineers, Doctors, MBA's, MCA's, BCA's, BBMS, M.A, M.com, MSc, and Large number of them are graduates; many of them are still pursuing the higher education. We feel content, for the fact that, we have been doing justice and achieving our objectives, in the field of education. It has become possible, of course, with the co-operation and support of our beloved parents.

We are one of those, who believe that “The children have varied talents. We, at the school level, have to hunt for such talent, and also, give proper support and encouragement to nurture such varied talents, which help them to hold the noble professional occupations in future.” We must also believe that all the students are not equally receptive” and therefore, they may be considered, as slow learners. However, we have to try and take them also, in the main stream. This is what we really do at GnanaDhama.

However, we should not forget, the role of parents in achieving the desired results at school level specially, of the Mother. 'Mother dreams right from the day of the child's birth, what her child shall be in future?' She sets the goal and works hand in hand with the school authorities, for achieving it. I take this opportunity, to request the noble ladies to take active part in framing the future of your child, by extending the helping hand with the school authorities. We, in India, have people of varied caste and creed and thus, our management has made it a policy to admit all classes of students, irrespective of the caste and creed.

Since, we have good play ground and adequate building, the indoor and outdoor games are encouraged. We try to balance curricular and co-curricular activities in our calendar of events, every year. This means to achieve all round development of the child, keeping in mind the area of interest of the child. Thus in a nutshell, Management of GnanaDhama has been marching towards excellence.
